Percent homework

Simon Whitfield of Victoria, British Columbia, won the men’s triathlon at the Sydney Olympics. The race
consisted of a 1.5-km swim in Sydney Harbour, a 40-km bike ride through Sydney and a 10-km run.

a) What percent of the race distance
is each component? Express your
answer to the nearest tenth of a percent.

b) What percent of the race distance
is spent on land? Express your answer
to the nearest tenth of a percent.

Keep it rolling

Tonight I would like everyone to create their own blog.  We talked about it today in class but technical difficulties make it easier to do at home.  Don't worry too much about how it looks or what settings you choose.  We'll get to that. 

Remember, you are going to have a Word of the Day test sometime over the next two weeks!

Lastly don't forget to complete your ten items for your time capsule.
